Ever had a moment? You know the one I’m talking about where the hands clench, the jaw tightens and the fingertips run across the keyboard quicker than the intake of your breath? That’s always the moment I have to remind myself to sit on my hands or what could have taken months to build, can crumble in a series of ill-spoken words.
There are 3 lessons I’ve learned the hard way. One, was that people aren’t always who they seam. Two, was that those we judge often are exactly who we think they aren’t. And three? Well, that’s the one that proved to me that while it’s important to stick up for yourself, it’s not worth getting the last word in. What is important, is to never lose sight of the prize: your own sanity at the end of the day.
Here’s to a prosperous and relaxing rest of January.
