Today, I didn’t sleep in. As the smell of breakfast lofted from my kitchen and Ava’s giggles permeated the small space, I listened and reflected.
To all Veterans, Families and anyone touched by the tragedy of war, Thank You. I’m not worried about having the most eloquent words, or the best coverage today. I’m just reflecting on the fact that you’ve made the world a brighter place for my daughter. For that? You deserve more than a day. From the bottom of our hearts: Thank You.
