One: Even though Michael Jackson has been dead for a long time, the army of profiteers and wealth enhancers are making it difficult to open a paper or turn on the television. Why he is still making headlines, I’ll have no clue. Imagine the power of the news covering all the good that happens by the people who are often silenced?
Two: I’m growing more and more convinced as the blog posts, conversations and moments go by that we all misunderstand what God is truly about. We have nothing to answer for but our own selves. Why we try to halt marriages, scream at other’s beliefs or handicap ourselves by short-sided ‘values’ is beyond me. Those that seem to scream the loudest about moral integrity seem to be lacking the most sense.
Three: The justifications we give ourselves when we shortchange our dreams. “It’s just not the right time,” or, “It doesn’t mean enough,” are poor excuses for not taking on what you want to do, TODAY. We’ll never say, “I’m so glad I didn’t achieve what I dreamed of.”

Wow! Well said! I suspect if we ever get to meet God, we’ll find her/him to be not that angry about most things we worry about, and mostly concerned about each of us making the world a little better and not hurting each other.
1) MJ was KING of rock, so he will continue to make headlines and I am happy about him.
2) There is no God
3) What?
I have wondered about the first two off and on for a while…
The third made me think…and that is a good thing!
